In May we had the opportunity to work with Events By Paris to create a moody dinner look for over 100 of the best Arizona wedding vendors. Inspired by the architecture at The Abbey on Monroe, our team put together designs that combined the old with the new (fresh blooms and dried blooms) and leaned into an abundance of candles to bring an intimate vibe to the night. We love getting to create events FOR event professionals who typically are watching events from the sidelines after months of hard work and planning. It was so special to celebrate this group and we're *obsessed* with the details.
The stage design for the panel discussion was accented by gauzy draped fabric and bursts of blooms atop our custom built concrete stands. Leaning into a theme of abundance, we incorporated mushrooms and grapes into the designs throughout the event.
Guests arrived and were greeted with a glass of champagne and a gorgeous charcuterie spread on the mezzanine overlooking the open courtyard. When planning your event, the flow of the night is just as much a part of the design as anything visual you are putting in place. Guests chatting on the mezzanine got to take a peek into the courtyard where the dinner tables were fully set; a fun glimpse into the rest of their evening. It also allowed a unique vantage point of the dining tables.
The dining tables were a chic mix of patterned and solid linens as well as a mix of kings tables with more traditional rounds. We love a reception with mixed table styles to create visual interest. For consistency, all of the tables featured the same color palette of blooms but we mixed containers and sizes of designs to align with each style of linen. Bud vases can have a big impact when designed with leggy stems creating interesting lines. We leaned hard into candlelight for the tables bringing an abundance of soft light to the space. And the end result? A perfect evening celebrating some incredible event professionals who have devoted their careers to helping you celebrate your big moments.
