A Valentine Inspired Wedding

Growing up, Valentine's Day was ALWAYS my favorite holiday (said the florist). I never had a boyfriend. My awkward stage lasted.... let's just say I had more than a handful of very awkward years. But every year our family would get dinner at one of those incredibly suburban cook-on-your-table restaurants. I loved writing my friends valentines, I loved wearing pink and red, and I loved that there was a whole day dedicated to telling everyone in your life how much you loved them! So, my loveeeee for this holiday has, of course, extended into my adult life. Last year we had the incredible opportunity to work on this Valentine's inspired wedding shoot and it made our hearts burst (and we think it'll do the same to you).

We love a theme but sometimes we find that clients get stuck in them. Valentine's Day was the starting point for this shoot but we didn't want to sprinkle glitter hearts everywhere to get the point across. We decided to tone down our Valentine's Day color palette with some soft yellows, creams, and whites. As usual, we love to see a hearty mix of foliage tucked among our favorite springtime blooms and for these designs we chose a mix of olive and eucalyptus.
