To sum up Kaitlyn and Tyler's wedding in a few words, it was just like them... stylish, effortless, and just SO cool. And like all of our favorite couples, they did something even more cool.... hired a rad wedding planner psssst Details by Molly Donovan. For one, they marrried at El Chorro in Paradise Valley which is one of our favorite venues to work with and they wanted some legendary florals in the mix. A dream.
I have to take a moment to rave about the details of this day because it is truly what made it feel like Kaitlyn and Tyler. From the vibey airbnb they got ready at that perfectly showcased their love for music, to Kaitlyn's getting ready robe - it's so good. We created Kaitlyn's bouquet with blush cymbidium, burgundy ranunculus, ghobi roses, and gorgeous red hanging amaranthus. It was romantic yet modern and different, but still timeless and beautiful. Basically everything you could ever want wrapped up in one bridal bouquet.
For the ceremony, we flanked both sides of the aisle with some juicy floor arrangements and of course the star of the show was our black square iron arch with the most fabulous sprays I ever did see. The colors of this palette between the toffee roses, orchids, and cymbidium contrasting with the deep burgundy of the ranunculus was actually insane. It felt elevated and unique without feeling like the trend of the season which is SUCH a vibe. Thank you to Molly, Kaitlyn, and Tyler for allowing us to create such special florals for you!!
Dinner was held on the Casa Paloma patio, and one of my favorite parts about that space is utilizing the massive fireplace as the main focal point. We repurpused the floral from the ceremony arch to drape lavishly over the sweetheart table and the fireplace mantel accented with lots of candlelight. For all you brides out there, repurposing is the best way to get the most out of your florals and your budget as well. PLUS you get to experience gorgeous florals in multiple spaces on your special day. A triple win.
The guest tables were adorned with our orion vases filled to the brim with delicious toffee roses, burgundy scabiosa, and purple limonium. Each table was accented with fun rust colored taper candles and table numbers showcasing the couples favorite albums, another nod to their love for music!
A quick runthrough of some of our favorite details include Kaitlyn's getting ready robe and bouquet. I had to bring it up again because its just that dang good. We loooooved the dried orange slices at each place setting for dinner. Another honorable mention is the dessert table. I mean the dogs with the cake... so adorable and the cutest cactus macaroons!
