We live for couples that plan a wedding that is unique to their love story. And contrary to popular belief.... you can kind of have it all. Nadia & Scott celebrated their wedding weekend in Sedona and every little moment was an exclamation point of their love story.
Guests were invited to participate in yoga the morning of the wedding followed by an syzygy. The day of the wedding coincided with a rare solar eclipse so guests were supplied with eclipse-viewing glasses and got to let go of something in their life and create space to welcome in something new.
After the eclipse viewing, everyone started getting ready for the ceremony. Nadia and Scott's first look by the creek was full of joy and excitement. Their personals were classic in an all-white color palette but built in a wild, garden style so it would fit in among the vibrant colors in the rest of the wedding decor.
Something we love about weddings at L'auberge du Sedona is that each moment of your wedding can take place in a completely unique part of the property. Ceremony for Nadia & Scott took place at Vista Overlook with breathtaking views of the Sedona red rocks in the background. We've had the pleasure of working with a lot of different couples in this space and we often hear that they are worried about creating an arch/altar moment that might take away from the view. Nadia & Scott's gorgeous chuppah and layout of the stage proves that you can go big in this space without sacrificing any of the views!
After ceremony, guests filtered down to the garden terrace for an intimate cocktail hour. This space is lit with romantic string lights and is cozy nestled among lush trees but still offering views of the red rocks.
To guide guests from cocktail hour to reception, Nadia and Scott's incredible band began a second line. Everyone danced from the garden terrace down to the Cottageside Lawn.
There are so many sweet little details at their reception that all came together to create a welcoming and joyful dinner space. We chose a collection of colors of taper candles in mismatched holders. The colors of the tapers were all reflected in the floral arrangements and everything was tied together perfectly with the linen and table numbers.
As dinner wound down, the party was just getting started. For the last stop of the night, guests found their way to a disco in the garden ballroom to start dancing.
