Frida Kahlo Inspired Wedding

Frida Kahlo Inspired Wedding

This is a throwback but it’s one of our all-time favorite projects. I have long been a fan of Frida Kahlo and when I discovered the Eisendrath House, I knew I had the perfect location for a Frida Inspired shoot.

Our bride wore a custom gown from Cleo & Clementine. I love the simplicity of the dress which allows for the details to bring a lot of personality without feeling overwhelming. Minimal wedding gowns make my heart sing but make sure your splurge for one that is beautifully made. It’s the same as with food - if you have only a few ingredients you need to use the best of the best because each piece will shine through.

Speaking of beautifully tailored garments - can you believe these incredible suits from Magro Clothing? The team at Magro does incredible work and our grooms that work with them are always impeccably dressed.

One of my favorite aspects of this shoot is that all of the details were so BIG. In the wedding world, we often shy away from making a bold statement with prints/colors/details but this shoot proves that you don’t have to fear it.
